Volvariella volvacea was cultivated on fermented sisal bagasse for 20 days. Spawn was prepared with sisal bagasse and
rice husks (2:1). Primordia emerged between 25 to 34 ¡ncubation days, 1 to 2 flashes were harvested and the average
biological efficiency 10.2%.
