A taxonomic list of 84 species is presented, they were picked up during the rainy
season of 2004 and 2005 in the basin of the river Magdalena and adjacent zones in the Suelo
de Conservación Contrerense. There were carried out analysis upon the distribution patterns
of taxonomic groups, they were compared with those observed by other investigators in
other regions; as well as the specific richness, the traditional knowledge and the importance
of species were analyzed in order to contribute to the knowledge of the diversity of the zone.
