Hyphomycetes associated with plant litter from the State of Veracruz, Mexico

Sixteen species of Hyphomycetes are described and illustraled for the first time from Mexico. All of
them were collected in several localities of the stale of Veracruz, Mexico. They are saprophytes
associated with plant litter such as branchu, trunks and leaves. A brief description of their main
reproductive characters and comments about their distribution are included. Thirteen of the species a no
new records for Mexico
