Abstract

A taxonomic study of 26 species of tremelloid fungi
(Heterobasidiomycetes) is presented . Two species are new records
for the Mexican mycobiota: Guepiniopsis alpina (Tracy & Earle)
Bras . and Tremella reticulata (Berk.) Farlow, and these are
fully described. Two keys of the known Mexican species of
Guepiniopsis and Tremella are included. Further information on
the geographical distribution of 19 species is provided
