The Mycologicail Herbarium of the National School of Biológica!
Scienceg of the Polytechnic Institute at México City has around
50,000 specimens, and for this reason is the biggest in México and one
of the most imiportamt in Latín America. A historie review of this
herbarium is presented as well as a discussion on the main collections,
its organizatíon and the research programs developing in the Laboratories
of Mycology cióse to the Herbarium.
