New species and new records of the fungi from Palenque, Chiapas

It is described, discussed and illustrated 32 species of Basidiomycetes, all
of them from the tropical zone of Palenque, State of Chiapas (Mexico). Five
are dsecribed as new species: Pleumtus mexicanus Guzman, lltlamsmius singeri
Guzman, Limacella subillinita Guzman, Leucoaga1·icus mexicanus Guzman
and Psathyrella smithii Guzman. Four are reported for the first time
from i\fexico: Cymatoderma fuscum (Cke.) Reid, Psathyrella floccosa (Earle)
Smith, P. campestris (Earle) Smith and Conocybe crispa (Longy.) Sing. For
the State of Chiapas the following are new records: Schizophyllum commune
Fr., Agal"icus campestJ"is L. ex Fr., Chforophyllum molybdites (Meyer ex Fr.)
Mass., Leococoprinus bimbaumii (Corda) Sing., Psathyrella truncatispora
(Murr.) Smith, Panaeolus antillarum (Fr.) Dennis, P. sphinctrinus (Fr.) Quel.,
P. cyanescens (B. & Br.) Sacc., Agrocybe retigera (Speg.) Sing., Psilocybe cubensis
(Earle) Sing., Vascellum curtisii (Berk.) Kreis and Calvatia cyathiformis
(Bose) Morg. Some information about the edibility of toxicity is discussed of
each species. Psilocybe cubensis is an hallucinogenic species, and Panaeolus
cyanesce11.1 probably is too.
