Mycological exhibitions and congresses held by the Mexican Society of Mycology

The mycological exhibitions organized by the Mexican Society of Mycology dating from 1969, which was held the First Exhibition of
Fungi at Institute of Biology of the National University of Mexico in Mexico City. In order that these exposures have a national character,
in 1976 the First National Exhibition of Fungi was organized in the Natural History Museum of Chapultepec Park, Mexico City,
with the participation of mycologists from Mexico City, State of Mexico, Michoacán, Morelos and Veracruz. National Exhibition of
Mushrooms have been carried out in different places of México City, the last one, XV National Exhibition of Mushrooms, was held from
August 30 to September 7, 2013, at the Botanical Garden of the Institute of Biology of the National University. Since 1979, exhibitions
were held in different states of Mexico: Chiapas, Chihuahua, State of Mexico, Hidalgo, Jalisco, Michoacán, Morelos, Oaxaca, Sonora,
Tlaxcala, Veracruz and Yucatan, among others.
