Abstract

Thir ty- one species of Boletaceae and Gomphidiaceae from the
State of Mexico, of the Mexica n Republic, were studied. We d iscus s
t he i r dist ribution in d if f erent types of vege t ation,
ectomycorrhizalassociation,phenology, a nd edibil ity. The e d i bilit y
of Chroogomphus iamaicensis (Murr.)O.K.Mi l l er, is r epor ted for the
first time .
