Fungi of the State of Tlaxcala

The first catalogue including 83 species of fungi from t he State of
Tlaxcala is presented. Thirt y eight species are recor ded for the first
time f r om this State. Of the species studied 1 belongs t o t he Zygomycetes,
11 t o the Ascomycetes , 69 to the Basidi omycetes and 2 to t he DAuteromycetes .
Se~en point two % of the species are parasitic, 46 .9% are mycorrhizal, 3.6%
are lichens and 4 2. 1% are sa prophytic .
