Yeasts from white pozol and mamey (Mammee) pozol from the Lacandon zone of Chiapas, Mexico

Pichia membr anaefaciens , Candida famata , ~ · fabianii and Trichospor on
cutaneum were isolated and studied from two types of pozol . The fi rst species
was isol ated onl y from white pozol , the second from sapote mamey (mammee) pozol ,
and the r est from both types of pozol.
