Study of Amanita porphyria and A. brunnescens of the section Mappae in Mexico

A chemotaxomic study on Amonita porphyria and A. brunnescens is presented supporting
the Identification of these species withing Section Mappae of Amonita (Agaricales) in
México. Information was obtained from herbarium specimens deposited in MEXU
and FCME. On the basis of our results, we propose further alternatives on research of
these species.
