Micromycetes op the rhizosphere op sorghum

24 species of fungí belong to Deutencmycetes (22 species), Zygomycetes
(1 species) and Ascomyoetes (1 species) were studied. The
material wag obtained from 15 samples of soil from the counties of
Escobedo and Salinas Victoria, in Nuevo León, México. The species of
th3 genus Aspergillus were the most abundant, following in second
place the species of genus Penicillium. All the species studied are saprophytes
except Aspergillus niger and A. ochraceus that could be phytopathogens
and G-eotrichum candidum that cause geotrichosis on man.
