Abstract

Bondarzewia berbeleyi (Fr.) Bond fc Sing. is described from deciduous forests
of México, at 1450-2000 m elevador), in the States of Guerrero and Hidalgo.
Polyporus berkeleyi Fr. previously reported from the State of Nuevo León is another
taxon, because it has not amiloid spores. The Mexican material was checked
with specimens from other countries identified by Overholts, Lloyd and Weir
and deposited in BPI, MICH and NY Herbaria.
