Abstract

The present work gi"es an account of the fungi responsible for several types of
rot in corn ea1·s. i\Iaterial proceeding from different localities was given by the
Instituto Nacional de In"e' tigaciones Ag;ricolas, S.A.G. In most of the damaged
corn ears, Fusarium moniliform.e Sheld. was found. Other fungi found
were Dipodia z.eae (Schw.) Lev., Trichoderma sp .• Penicillium sp. and Sclemtium
sp.
